Redwood City – The grandeur of simplicity

For this house renovation, the idea of a warm space to feel at home was set into motion by the ever-present wood elements which welcome you straight from the door.

Through a clever usage of light and darker wood patterning, we managed to set a distinct tone for every area of the house.

The kitchen benefits from a bright design complemented by the wooden veneer and kitchen flooring, while the kitchen island follows a slightly different color pattern.

For the seating area in the living, we added a coffee table with a masonry tabletop to give substance to that zone, and contrast it with a soft rug for that mental comfort element.

The outside design was kept simple and practical, with a stone patio to the front, and a covered lounging area to the back, overlooking a lawn where two planting strips unify the landscape design.

An overall project where all areas of the house were kept elegant and in good taste, adding value and functionality to the property.
